The Tejo Lounge builds on the material-driven ethos of the original, award-winning Tejo seating collection, first introduced last year. Thoughtfully designed to balance form, function, and sustainability, Tejo Lounge is compact yet fully modular, adaptable to a range of environments, from commercial interiors to residential spaces.Made from recycled wine cork stoppers, natural latex, and wool upholstery, the Tejo Lounge embodies a circular design philosophy. Each component is carefully selected for its low environmental impact and full end-of-life recyclability, resulting in a truly sustainable seating solution.
Cork, a key material in the collection, is harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree without causing harm, allowing the tree to regenerate and continue growing. This renewable resource is naturally fire-resistant, hypoallergenic, and sequesters carbon throughout its lifecycle—making it a smart, sustainable alternative to traditional materials. Combined with biodegradable latex and natural textiles, the Tejo Lounge continues Isomi’s missions to set new standards in the contract furniture industry with more conscious design that doesn’t compromise comfort or aesthetics.
