60 New Broad Street

60 New Broad Street’s communal entrance was the focus of a complete re-design and build by Pitch Studios, who were tasked with revitalising the workspace while ensuring it complimented the building’s history and existing details of the Grade II listed site.

Using considered materials, Pitch Studios worked carefully around and with the existing preserved details in the building, to create a more contemporary, clean space.

Isomi’s Blok Desk was selected to balance a dark colour scheme and compliment the orthogonal footprint of the space. The solid surface material in Snow maximises the light brought in from the textured glass of the building’s original windows behind the desk, which is then absorbed by the dark, rich timber on the opposite wall keeping the space light and airy.

The long configuration of the Blok Desk helps to bring the space together, drawing visitors through the narrow reception area to the softly furnished waiting area, while also maximising floor space for the building’s users.
