Undertaking work for a confidential financial client, Ted Moudis Associates were tasked with creating a clean and open design for their client’s Hudson Yards HQ.
Utilising a muted colour palette, the design team employed textures and form to create visual interest and balance the square core design of the building with more organic structures.
The Fold Desk was selected for its clean lines and precise angles with modules were arranged to create a V-shaped configuration. Specified in all white to suit the colour palette, at 1100mm high the upstand largely conceals the workspace adding a sculptural element to the highly curated space.
Centrally placed the Fold Desk is flanked by stone walls contrasting the natural texture against the smooth solid surface, with curved glass offsetting the linear elements of the reception design.
“The client’s design vision of a bright and airy workspace was realised through a minimal palette of light, cool and muted colours that serve as a backdrop to a beautifully curates artwork placed throughout the workspace.” - Jenifer Colon, Design Director at Ted Moudis Associates.
