Previously designed in the 90's, this office building in Moorgate was in need of a refresh. Garnett Architecture was appointed by BlackRock to remodel the 'front of house' area and provide a contemporary update.
A key objective for the client was to create an impressive arrival area that instills a sense of calm and enhanced well-being for staff and clients alike.
The utilization of biopholic design principles in the office were used to achieve this via natural elements in the wood paneling, green walls, and Isomi black powder coated metal desk.
Isomi worked with Garnet Architecture to help achieve their vision while staying within budget. The bespoke desk showcases an industrial aesthetic with simple and sleek lines, lending it a modern and urban feel. Positioned in front of the wooden slat wall, the desk mimics its linear design and sets the tone for the rest of the building.
