St Johns Square Gate House

Refurbished by Gpad and situated in London’s historic St Johns Square, the Gate House office space lies centrally in the renowned design hub of Clerkenwell. The proposal for this renovation was to preserve the original design elements of the Swiss architect, Richard Seifert, such as the glass mosaic and marble façade.

With custom, recessed hot rolled steel inlay branding and hot rolled steel sign-in platform, the concrete Volume desk provides a fitting welcome and focal point to the entrance of this 1960’s refurbished workplace. The clear lines of concrete modularity balance naturally with the strokes of the decorative wall panels and the texture of the concrete complements the polished grained flooring.
